This race bred outboard has been purposely designed to meet the competitive needs of bass boat fishing, skiing, racing and other adrenalin packed boating activities. The 4.2 litre, 24-valve, double overhead cam engine is not only extremely compact, but is lighter than another equivalent four-stroke on the market. The secret to its performance is the plasma-fused sleeveless cylinders which significantly reduce the overall weight while increasing the engine capacity. Compact In-Bank Exhaust System

The direct ignition system, with plug cap and ignition coil, provides higher reliability and increased performance.
Electronic Throttle Valve
The electronic throttle valve provides sure and more precise valve opening and closing according to each engine temperature and atmospheric condition. This system works in tune with the fuel injection and ignition systems, to deliver incredible response and exceptional fuel economy.
Plasma Fused Cylinders
The plasma fusion process creates a cylinder wall surface that is 60% harder than steel, removing the need for conventional steel cylinder sleeves. The removal of these sleeves significantly reduces weight while increasing capacity in the engine, resulting in an improved power-to-weight performance.
Variable Camshaft Timing
The Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) advances and retards the camshaft timing according to the engine RPMs. This in combination with the electronically controlled single throttle valve system and long intake manifold boosts low and mid-range torque for optimum acceleration.

6x3 Concealed Side-Mounted Control
With its stylish chrome finish and ergonomic design, this mechanical control not only looks good, but provides effortless one-hand operation. The trim and tilt switch is comfortably located on the handle and features easily accessible neutral warm-up controls and externally adjustable throttle friction.
